LYNNWOOD, Wash. – September 12, 2005 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics,
a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), announces the appointment of Gregg
Herman as Aerospace Group Director, Customer Service. In this capacity,
Herman will be responsible for Aerospace Group product support, field
service engineering, technical data and publications. Additionally, he
will have responsibility for managing customer satisfaction with the
OEM, operator and airline customer base. Formerly, Herman was Director,
Business Management for the Aerospace Group. He started in 1997 as
District Sales Manager for Resistoflex-Aerospace, one of the eight
companies which comprise Crane Aerospace & Electronics.
Herman received a BS in Marketing from Southern Nazarene University in
Bethany Oklahoma. He is currently enrolled in Lean Black Belt training,
a six-week Crane-sponsored program which focuses on Six Sigma
applications and Lean concepts to drive continuous improvement in
processes and operations.
