Tim Jors named Vice President of Supply Chain for Crane Aerospace & Electronics

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – September 2, 2005 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), has named Tim Jors as Electronics Group Vice President of Supply Chain. In this role, Jors will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of Supply Chain for the Electronics Group. His focus will be to drive improved supplier quality and on-time delivery, better product gross margins, and higher velocity of inventory.

Jors brings the group 25 years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials management and operations. This experience includes leading strategic outsourcing and global sourcing programs, program managing complex joint development projects involving multiple companies, directing an ERP System implementation, and performing company acquisition due diligence.

Prior to joining Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Jors was Director of Strategic Sourcing for Medtronic Emergency Response Systems, Vice President of Operations at Stellar One Corporation, and Director of Enterprise Systems and Materials at Intermec Technologies Corporation.

Jors received a BA degree in Business Administration from California State University at Fullerton and an Executive MBA from the University of Washington.
