LYNNWOOD, Wash. – March 27, 2006 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a
segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Ron
Kato as Aerospace Group Vice President of Customer Satisfaction. In this
capacity, Kato is responsible for customer service, quality, business
management, sales, marketing, and communications for the Aerospace
Group.
Kato joined Crane Aerospace & Electronics in 1997 as Northwest Regional
Business Manager for Hydro-Aire, one of the brands which comprise Crane
Aerospace & Electronics. In 2001, he was promoted to the position of
Vice President of Group Marketing, and in 2002 to Vice President
Customers and Solutions.
Prior to joining Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Kato was Regional
Manager in Seattle for Aeroquip-Vickers and a Senior Program Manager for
the Sterer division of Vickers in Los Angeles. Kato also spent seven
years with the Boeing Company in their military procurement
organization.
Kato graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Marketing and recently completed the University of Michigan
Executive Program.
