Dawn Johnson appointed Site Leader for Crane 
 

Lynnwood, Wash. – December 12, 2007 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), has announced the appointment of Dawn Johnson as Site Leader of its Redmond, Washington location. In this capacity, Johnson will be responsible for manufacturing operations as well as site leadership, quality, operational excellence and strategic deployment at the Redmond site. The Redmond site designs and manufactures microelectronics and power conversion for aerospace, defense and medical applications.

Johnson joins Crane with over ten years of experience in manufacturing management with a strong emphasis in lean manufacturing. Her most recent experience was working for SKF USA, Inc., as Plant Manager responsible for all manufacturing operations. Other related roles include Director of Operations at WABTEC Corporation, Operations Manager and Plant Manager at Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership, and Business Unit Manager at ArvinMeritor. Dawn holds both a Bachelors of Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a Masters of Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, and a Masters of Professional Accountancy degree from the IUPUI Kelley School of Business.
