Lynnwood, Wash. –
October 8, 2007 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR),
has announced the appointment of H. Alan Howell as Electronics Group
Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. In this capacity,
Howell is responsible for strategic planning and business development
focusing on both internal and external growth for the business.
Previously Howell
was with Raytheon’s Space and Airborne Systems business where he led the
business development efforts for the Electronics Warfare and Mission
Systems Integration business units. He has over 25 years of experience
in business development, strategic planning and program management with
major aerospace organizations such as Honeywell, GE, L-3 and Lockheed
Martin, in many markets that are key to Crane Aerospace & Electronics,
including Unmanned Aerial Systems and Electronic Warfare Systems for
airborne and ground applications.
