Ground Fault Interrupter Patent Portfolio Licensed to TDG Aerospace, Inc.

Lynnwood, Wash. – April 9, 2007 – Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has agreed to license its Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) Patent Portfolio to TDG Aerospace, Inc., Escondido, California. Under the terms of the agreement, TDG Aerospace has been granted a non-exclusive license to utilize the Crane Aerospace & Electronics GFI patent portfolio. Crane Aerospace & Electronics has one of the most extensive GFI patent portfolios in the industry with five issued patents and two pending.

The licensing agreement expands application of TDG’s current Universal Fault Interrupter (UFITM) product line. Most recently, TDG Aerospace received Supplemental Type Certification (STC) and Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC) for installation of UFITM products on Boeing 757-200/ -300 airplane fuel systems to alleviate minimum fuel restrictions of AD2002-24-51, while providing a simple to install solution to the forthcoming SFAR88 mandates.

“TDG Aerospace has demonstrated real innovation with their UFITM device. The solution as an Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC) for AD2002-24-51 benefits the entire industry. The combination of our patent portfolio and TDG Aerospace’s pending patents creates a unique opportunity for TDG to expand their electrical protection system products,” stated Greg Ward, Aerospace Group President, Crane Aerospace & Electronics.

Founded in 1990, TDG Aerospace creates dynamic air safety solutions for the aircraft and aerospace industry, specializing in the development of electrical protection systems. TDG provides solutions that help airlines save money, improve safety, ensure compliance and greatly reduce delays.
