LYNNWOOD,
Wash. – September 29, 2008 –
Crane Aerospace
& Electronics,
a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has named Tim Jors as Business Unit
Leader – Standard Power. In this capacity, Jors will be responsible for
product management, new business development, strategic planning,
management of business relationships with key customers as well as
Standard Power Solutions profit and loss. Jors will be located at the Redmond, Washington
site. Standard Power Solutions specializes in
DC/DC converter and EMI
filter modules sold under the brand name of Interpoint and designed to
serve the Space, Defense, Aerospace and adjacent markets by providing
over 1,000 off-the-shelf quality standard power products, support and
services that set the industry standard for performance in high
reliability electronic systems.
Jors brings the group
over 25 years of progressive experience in supply chain, materials
management and operations. This experience includes leading strategic
outsourcing and global sourcing programs, program managing complex joint
development projects involving multiple companies, directing an ERP
System implementation, and performing company acquisition due diligence.
Jors joined Crane Aerospace & Electronics in 2005 as Vice President of
Supply Chain for the Electronics Group. Prior to joining Crane, Jors was
Director of Strategic Sourcing for Medtronic Emergency Response Systems,
Vice President of Operations at Stellar One Corporation and Director of
Enterprise Systems and Materials at Intermec Technologies Corporation.
Jors received a BA
degree in Business Administration from
California
State
University
at Fullerton and an Executive MBA from
the University of Washington.
